It’s hard to have an about me page without feeling cliché. As with most churches, we are attempting to establish a loving community within the greater community. A group of warm welcoming believers that have open hearts, walking in the love of Jesus.
But what is unique about the Way Of Life Church? The presence of God. Obviously, He is everywhere, but in this group of loving believers, there is a residing passion to be near him. This passion has created a tangible presence of God in our fellowship, our teaching, and our times of worship and prayer. For this, we are infinitely grateful. We would love for you to come and experience this with us.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit in the church today).
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6, Colossians 2:11-14, Acts 2:38).
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4).
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government (Mark 16:15-18, Acts 5:16, 2 Corinthians 12:1-11).
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Doing life together is essential for believers. The love of God works through and to one another, to strengthen, encourage, and nurture.
We are looking to serve another, and our community, just as Christ as commanded. Not just in the easy ways, but to every segment of our society.
No matter what we do in our humanity, all of our programs and efforts will fall short, if not for the glorious presence of God. This is why we pray, this is why we worship, and it is a privilege to have the liberty to do so.
While learning some things in school might be arduous, learning the things of God is glorious. We’re endlessly seeking to learn and grow, because no one has arrived.
The biblical mandate to all believers to make disciples, and it is also part of the great joy of life in Christ. We believe the whole church is called to this mission and seek to create an atmosphere of limitless possibilities to expand.
